Things are going pretty well here for the most part. My computer's got some Malware, but I think that I'm getting to the bottom of all of it. I could have ran Malware Bytes in safe mode, and I might have Bob still help me with this, but Fusty actually gave me a program from the site having to do with the Malware, so we'll see what ends up happening. Regardless, a new computer, or at least a newer computer than the one I've got is in the not too distant future.
I've caught up on reading this month, though the books are shorter, and more child like by nature. Example, I'm reading the Famous Five books, by Enid Blyton, and enjoying them. They're not all that I've been reading though. I've also delved in to the Eddings books again, as well as the first Dragonlance series, which begins with Dragons of Autumn Twilight. I'd liked that particular book when I'd started it in California, but as it usually happens with me, my book ADD struck again. :) I sense hat Raistlin is going to become evil, which is going to suck, since I kind of like him, but I guess we'll see what happens. I don't even know if I’ll get that far in the series.
Dustin and I haven't talked in quite awhile. I'd sent him a message a couple weeks ago, and he didn't reply. I hope he's doing well. I actually miss talking with him.
Bob and i are still doing well, so this is indeed good. just the normal routine as far as all that goes, but I can't complain about that. We might go to karaoke tomorrow night, but we'll see. I've sort of missed Eldo's, since I've not been there in what feels like two months. Guess I'm not really feeling all that any more. Sure, I still like karaoke, and stuff, but I've gotten used to the whole going out to dinner when Bob and i hang out, then going back to his house, and hanging out/watching tv, reading, and all that. Part of why I don't want to go to karaoke though is mostly because
I'm tired of singing my same old boring songs, yet am sort of scared to try new ones. I do know many other songs, but I'm just a creature of habit, I guess. If it were a Mercedes and Aaron show I were at, I might try a new song, but for whatever reason I just can't really do it at Eldo's.
I've finally gotten to Facetime on the iPhone, and the funny thing is that the first person I Facetimed with was from another Country. A very nice lady named Leeanne, in fact. She's just 3 years younger than me, and we don't like a whole lot of the same music, but since when have I judged someone on their musical tastes. Sure, I can sometimes be Elitist, but I’m not not going to be someone's friend, based on their musical taste. that's where I've grown up. At least I think for myself, as far as music, and don't listen to what others tell me to, or the radio. This will most likely never change. More people really need to think on their own.
So, I just finished this book that I’d read one of the series when I was young. The book was called "Kitty from the Start." It was all about this girl that moves to a new house, and starts a new catholic school. She makes one friend that's a good catholic, and another friend that well, isn't. The book is mostly about doing right and wrong. What really got me is how kitty and the good catholic girl friend were in church, and their priest was talking about how a little boy didn't go to church one Sunday, and wanted to play Baseball. He ends up getting hit by a car, or something. i sort of zoned out during that part, so i might not have it proper in my head. That sort of irritated me though, because while I’m confused about all this religion stuff, I don't think it's fair that people try to guilt people in to going to a church. Sure, you'll get fellowship with people that believe the same as you and such, but I don’t know. I know many good Christians, Bob, included, that don't go to church often at all, and who are wonderful people. People if they believe in God, and whatnot can read the bible, and not go to church, and still have a perfectly good relationship with God, then someone that goes to church, who just goes to church to go through the motions, to look good in God's eyes. Yeah, confusing indeed. I'm not trying to offend anyone or anything, just writing out my thoughts on the subject.
Not sure what else to say at the moment, since I’m kind of hungry, and tired. Cereal calls, I think. :)
