So, let's see. What do I have to say? It's Mother's Day, and because Bob is awesome, I was able to post on Dad's wall, on Facebook. I'd actually wanted to do something for him, like get him a 12-pack of MGD, but all of the places that we looked yesterday they were out. Yes, my Dad does drink too much sometimes, and yes, I know this, but it's Mother's Day, and sometimes, he's just got to be treated. Maybe the logic doesn't make all that much sense, but it does in my head, so that's all that matters.

Totally unrelated to Mother's Day, I've been reading a lot of English Historical fiction lately. I'm liking it well enough, but I'm noticing some trends in the genre. Usually, there's going to be some kind of dance, where the women hide their identities, and the men are going to have to find the women that they like best. Also, or at least, in the Marion Chesney books that I'd read, someone's going to randomly kill someone, in honor of the woman that they love. They don't go in to the details of the murders, but they, in that aspect, are just flakey.

What else have I read. Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen was pretty good. So much so, that I've got two of her other books. Riding Lessons, and I'm not sure what the other is called. I'm hoping that they're going to be just as good as Water for Elephants.

I'm kind of tired of the whole historical Romance genre for a bit, so, I'm not really all that sure what I'm going to read next. Something all together with some kind of bad ass woman, that's Fantasy oriented, I'm thinking. Not really in the mood for a Young Adult trilogy, though I do like those, I'm just not really in the mood to read Dystopia, right now, unless it's the Matched Trilogy by Ally Condie which I adore.

Well, that's about all I've got to say for the moment. This updating on a more regular basis again could be fun!
